Holidays in term time

I have received a number of requests for parents to take their son or daughter out of school for a holiday. I appreciate that many parents are involved in employment connnected with tourism and some parents are not able to take holidays during the school holidays. Holiday breaks can however be a significant interruption to learning.

Start of the new school year

Welcome to all our staff and students who have returned after the summer break and a particularly warm welcome to the Year 7 students who have joined us from Silloth Primary School, Holm Cultram Abbey CE School, Holme St Cuthbert School and Allonby Primary School We are also pleased to welcome several new members of staff.
